Batting cage reservation software
HoldATime reserves batting cages the same way it reserves Court 1–4: one resource, numbered cages, a time window, and a QR poster at the tunnel. Teams and private coaches hold Cage 2 without a clipboard.
How to set it up
Add Batting Cages as a resource with Cage 1–8. A booking holds only that cage, so another team can still take an open cage at the same time.
Set a session length, a short buffer to pick up balls, and who may book. Optional intake questions can ask for team name or coach. Recurring team slots stay off until you enable them.
- Create the batting-cage resource and number each cage.
- Set session length and a buffer between hitters or teams.
- Limit who may book, or collect a team name on the request.
- Hang a QR poster at the tunnel or cage gate.
Who it is for
High school and club baseball programs, indoor training facilities, and parks with public cages.

Frequently asked questions
Can you reserve batting cages with HoldATime?
Yes. Treat each cage as a numbered unit. Coaches and teams hold a cage for a session; the calendar keeps two groups off the same cage.
Do we need batting-cage software separate from courts?
No. Cages use the same resource and unit model as courts. HoldATime does not ship a baseball-only product.
How do cage units and QR passes work?
Cage 2 is independent of Cage 3. The tunnel poster opens live availability; the pass shows which cage and time were reserved.
Where do we start after picking batting cages?
Create the resource, add cage units, set duration, then publish. Practice scheduling covers coach weeks that include cages.
