Sports, maintenance, and school equipment
Use one amenity per category, or one amenity per item when the rules differ. Bikes and a cornhole set can sit next to a pressure washer, a toolbox, a projector, or a digital display. If your group lends something else, add that too — the calendar does not depend on a fixed equipment list.
Units, not a single pile of gear
Add Bike 1 through Bike 4, or Projector A and Projector B, as units. A reservation holds only that unit. Someone can still take an open bike or the other projector at the same hour. One pressure washer is a single unit, so the next person sees it as taken until the hold ends.
Who can check equipment out
Invite a list, or open registration from your public page. Groups can limit the toolbox to maintenance staff, the projector to teachers, and the bikes to members. Turn reservations off when a unit is in for repair.

Hang a QR poster at the shed, closet, or cart. Scanning opens live availability, and the printable pass names the unit. Schools that also book rooms and gyms can start from school facility scheduling.
Amenities stay free until you add an optional booking fee. Connect Stripe from Settings → Billing on Core or Pro (not Free). What kinds of equipment can we reserve?

Can several bikes or projectors be reserved at once?
Yes. Add each piece as a unit — Bike 1, Bike 2, Projector A, Projector B. A hold locks only that unit, so another person can still take a free one at the same time.
How do we stop one person from keeping equipment all weekend?
Set a maximum duration, a daily hold limit, and a buffer before the next checkout. Blackout dates cover repairs. Optional approval can be required for longer holds.
Can a school reserve a projector the same way a club reserves bikes?
Yes. Create the equipment as its own amenity, then use Groups so teachers, maintenance staff, or members only see the items they should check out.
