Kayak, canoe, and paddleboard reservation software

HoldATime is kayak reservation software for parks, camps, schools, and clubs that lend numbered craft. One resource, a unit per kayak, canoe, or paddleboard, a session length, and a buffer to return and rinse.

How to set it up

Create one resource and add a unit per craft, such as Kayak 1, Canoe 2, and Paddleboard 3. A hold locks that craft only, so another person can still take an open boat at the same hour.

Set the session length and a buffer to return and rinse. An optional question can ask party size. Hang a QR poster at the rack. HoldATime does not sell tours, take damage deposits as a rental checkout, or store waiver signatures.

Who it is for

Parks, camps, schools, and clubs that check out a small fleet of kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards. Not tour operators or rental shops.

A rack is storage, not the craft

Boat slips and kayak racks are where a boat is stored. This page is the checkout of the craft for a session. Campsite pads, swim lanes, and other gear checkout use the same reservation calendar with different resources.

Frequently asked questions

Can you reserve kayaks, canoes, or paddleboards with HoldATime?

Yes. Add a unit per craft, set a session length, and let people hold an open boat from the poster at the rack.

Is HoldATime a kayak tour or rental checkout system?

No. It does not sell tours, take damage deposits as a rental point of sale, or store waiver signatures. It reserves a numbered craft for a time window and issues a QR pass.

How do craft units and the rack poster work?

Kayak 1 is independent of Canoe 2. Scanning the poster opens live availability. The pass names the craft and the return time.

Where do we start after picking kayak checkout?

Create the resource, number each craft, set the session and rinse buffer, then publish. Storage racks stay on the boat slip and kayak rack page.
