PC and personal computer reservation software
HoldATime reserves PCs and personal computers as numbered units — PC-12 — so two people cannot claim the same machine. Libraries and lounges use a session cap and a poster at the desk.
How to set it up
Create PCs with a unit per machine, or group a row if you only book the row. Set a one- or two-hour maximum.
This is not a computer-imaging or MDM product. Computer-lab seats for class blocks have their own page.
- Create the PC resource and number each machine (PC-12).
- Set a session maximum and who may book.
- Optionally add a purpose question.
- Post a QR code at the lab desk or lounge.
Who it is for
Libraries, student lounges, and offices with shared walk-up computers.

Frequently asked questions
Can you reserve PCs with HoldATime?
Yes. Number each computer, set a session cap, and let people hold PC-12 from the desk poster.
Do we need lab-management software?
Not for the calendar. HoldATime does not push images to PCs. It reserves named machines for a time window.
How do PC units and QR work?
PC-12 is independent of PC-13. The poster opens availability; the pass shows the machine and time.
Where do we start after picking PCs?
Create the resource, number machines, set session length, then publish. See computer-lab seats for class-period labs.
