HoldATime, Skedda Workplace, and AllBooked all help people reserve shared space. They are not the same product. Skedda sells workplace booking and community booking under different names.

Skedda Workplace is designed for offices and universities that share desks and rooms, including SSO and workspace integrations. AllBooked by Skedda is designed for community venues — sports, studios, coworking, and similar sites — that book spaces for customers and members and often charge for them. They overlap on “a room or space should not be double-booked.” The major distinction is audience: workplace operations, community-venue booking with payments, or a simpler shared-resource calendar.

How HoldATime is designed

HoldATime is a reservation calendar for named resources. It does not include workplace SSO, Microsoft Teams, interactive floor plans, or venue membership subscriptions. How Skedda and AllBooked are designed

Skedda’s introduction to AllBooked says AllBooked uses the same booking engine as Skedda’s other products, with payments and pricing rules for community spaces, while Skedda Workplace keeps Microsoft 365 integration and a Teams app. The AllBooked FAQ points offices and universities to Skedda Workplace and other venues to AllBooked.

AllBooked pricing lists Core at $99/month billed annually for up to 3 spaces, Business at $149/month (booking and pricing rules, equipment rentals, integrations), and Advanced at $199/month (unlimited spaces, interactive facility maps, memberships). A 14-day trial does not require a credit card. Skedda Workplace does not publish that same starter grid; confirm workplace pricing with the vendor.

Feature comparison

AllBooked publishes pricing rules, Stripe Connect payments, approval rules, and, on Advanced, interactive facility maps and memberships. Skedda support states that Floor plans & maps are included with Skedda Workplace and with AllBooked Advanced, so employees can see live desk and room availability and book from the map. Skedda Workplace also publishes SSO and workspace integrations that HoldATime does not. HoldATime publishes numbered parking stalls, equipment units, and QR passes, and it does not include an interactive floor-plan booking interface. Use the product whose published job matches the space you actually run.

HoldATime Core is $15/month, with a Free plan. AllBooked Core is $99/month when billed annually and covers up to 3 spaces. Skedda Workplace pricing varies by quote. A three-room community venue and a 40-person office are not the same purchase.

HoldATime may fit clubs, schools, churches, and small facilities that need courts, rooms, parking, or equipment on one simple calendar and do not need workplace SSO or an interactive floor-plan booking interface.

When Skedda or AllBooked may fit

Skedda Workplace may fit offices and universities that book desks and rooms from interactive floor plans, including Microsoft 365 or Teams. AllBooked may fit athletic venues, studios, and coworking sites that need pricing rules, payments, and, on Advanced, interactive facility maps or memberships.
