BBQ, picnic shelter, and pavilion reservations

HoldATime reserves BBQ pits, picnic shelters, and pavilions as outdoor rooms with a duration cap. Parks hang a poster at the shelter so two reunions are not assigned the same pavilion.

How to set it up

Number each shelter or treat a large pavilion as its own resource. Set a half-day or hourly maximum and a cleaning buffer.

Optional approval reviews large gatherings. This is the same room flow as a clubhouse, outdoors.

  • Create each shelter, BBQ, or pavilion as a resource or numbered unit.
  • Set duration and a cleanup buffer.
  • Require approval for large groups if you need it.
  • Hang a QR poster at the shelter.

Who it is for

Parks departments, churches, and clubs that share outdoor gathering structures.

Frequently asked questions

Can you reserve BBQ pits or pavilions with HoldATime?

Yes. Number each shelter, set a duration, and let people hold it from a poster at the pavilion.

Do we need park-specific software?

No. Shelters use the same HoldATime room resource as indoor halls. There is no park-permit GIS module.

How do units and QR work at a shelter?

Pavilion B is independent of Picnic 3. The poster opens availability; the pass shows the shelter and time.

Where do we start after picking a pavilion?

Create the shelters, set duration, then publish. The clubhouse story covers buffers and approval.
