Escape room reservation software

HoldATime books escape rooms as timed game sessions so the next group is not waiting at the door. Independent venues and rec centers name each room, set a game length plus reset buffer, and hang a QR poster at check-in.

How to set it up

Create each escape room as its own resource when game length differs, or as units under one resource. A hold includes the game plus the reset buffer you set.

Optional questions collect party size. This is not a hint-system or POS. VR free-play rooms are a separate page.

  • Name each escape room and set the game length.
  • Add a reset buffer so the next group is not walking into a live game.
  • Optionally collect party size or require a deposit question.
  • Hang a QR poster at check-in.

Who it is for

Escape-room venues, student unions, and rec centers that run scripted timed rooms.

Frequently asked questions

Can you reserve escape rooms with HoldATime?

Yes. Name each room, set a game length plus reset buffer, and let parties hold a start time from the check-in poster.

Is HoldATime escape-room operations software?

No. It does not run hints or locks. It is the reservation calendar and QR pass for named rooms.

How do room units and QR work?

Each game room books independently. The check-in poster opens availability; the pass shows the room and start time.

Where do we start after picking escape rooms?

Create each room, set game length and reset buffer, then publish. Karaoke rooms are a similar private-room setup.
