Shooting range lane reservation software
HoldATime books shooting-range lanes as numbered units with optional approval and intake questions. Clubs and public ranges use it so Lane 6 is held before someone walks to the line — without a paper sheet at the RO desk.
How to set it up
Add the range as one resource with a unit per lane or bay. A hold locks that lane only. Set a session length that matches your range clock.
Turn on approval or booking questions when you need a waiver acknowledgment or membership check. Multiple approvers can share the queue. HoldATime is not a range-safety system or gun-shop POS.
- Create the range resource and number each lane or bay.
- Set session length and how far ahead members can book.
- Add approval or intake questions for range rules if you need them.
- Hang a QR poster at the ready area or RO desk.
Who it is for

Frequently asked questions
Can you reserve shooting-range lanes with HoldATime?
Yes. Number each lane, set a session length, and optionally require approval or questions before the hold is confirmed.
Do we need range-specific software?
Not for the calendar. HoldATime does not replace range safety hardware. It is the same resource, units, rules, and QR pass as other lanes.
How do units, approval, and QR work on a range?
Lane 3 is independent of Lane 4. Approvers confirm holds that need a check. The poster opens availability; the pass is what people show at the desk.
Where do we start after picking range lanes?
Create the resource, add lanes, set duration, then add questions or approvers if needed. The questions and approvers stories walk through those settings.
